Hand-Woven Silk Scarf from Laos

This scarf has a repeating pattern with a very intricate and detailed design. It is practically identical on both halves.

The ends are adorned with thick gold-colored tassels.

The photo shows approximately 1/2 of the entire length of the piece. The top end was folded over a rod to hang the scarf for the photograph.
