Four Perils

This exquisite piece is more than 20 years old. It does have a couple of holes, but it's still fabulous. Surrounded on all sides by dangerous animals (symbols of life's perils), the figures ride calmly atop their elephant, strumming music, protected by their spirit guide.

Includes some bead work, some heavy-duty sequins along the edge of the brownish-red border, and a fully-embroidered background. Highly detailed and ornate, with generous application of sequins throughout.
